Social Skills for Boys

Social Skills for Boys

Social Skills for Boys is a social skills and processing group that works with middle and high school-aged boys. If you’ve noticed that your son is being bullied, bullying others, has social depression and introversion, impulsivity, lacks empathy, personal boundaries, self-esteem, or self-control, or is lacking the ability to cope with feelings (frustration, anxiety, sadness, etc.) this would be a great group for them. Your child will develop appropriate social skills on how to manage and cope with their symptoms and emotions, how to discuss their anxieties, frustrations, and other challenging feelings, problem-solving techniques, ways to respond to bullying and rumors, how to be a good role model, how to listen, and how to deal with transitions. Each boy will undergo a diagnostic evaluation in order to determine if this group is a good t. This group is led by Rich Genus, Resident in Counseling.

This 8-week group is open to Middle and High School Boys and held on Thursdays starting April 20, 2017.  The cost of the 8-week group is $400.  The group is led by Rich Genus, Resident in Counseling at the Wellness Connection.  This is a popular group and will sell out quickly, so sign up today!
