Courage, Compassion, Connection
A safe place for women to promote healing through sharing, honesty and deep conversation. The focus will be on empowerment, inherent worthiness, perfectionism, and self-compassion. For centuries, women have proven the power of storytelling. This new group will allow us to not only own our stories, but to take control of their endings.
*The next group is TBD and led by Dina Hilaris, MS. The cost is $320.
Dina is a resident at our Stone Ridge office who has earned her graduate degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Virginia Tech. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Elon University. Dina provides counseling to individuals, couples, families, and children who are experiencing a range of issues including family and marital conflict, anxiety, stress, anger, and depression. She has a deep appreciation for the strength and vulnerability that clients bring and expresses that in the room by providing a safe space for each client.
Dina started her career in mental health by facilitating domestic violence offender groups through Fairfax County. She went on to work as a youth counselor at a residential treatment facility for adolescents. There she provided guidance and direction to youth in a manner that developed and nurtured personal values and a solid system of communication. Dina currently works at Virginia Tech’s Center for Family Services, where she applies a variety of therapeutic techniques when working with individuals, couples, and families. Dina applies a family systems approach to the therapeutic process, incorporating strength-based techniques to emphasize each client’s inherent skills.
