Aubry Fisher is a Licensed Acupuncturist and a nationally certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. She earned her Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with academic honors from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, one of the nation’s leading schools for acupuncture, Chinese herbalism, and integrative medicine.
Aubry first became interested in acupuncture and TCM while working in the legal field as a personal injury paralegal. During this time, she worked with numerous individuals suffering from debilitating physical trauma and chronic pain. Aubry began researching alternative health care modalities as a means to address the unique needs of her clients. Through her research, she discovered a passion for the healing arts and ultimately decided to pursue her desire to help others through holistic medicine.
Aubry currently serves as President of the Acupuncture Society of Virginia, the professional organization for licensed acupuncturists in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is a former faculty member and clinical supervisor of Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, making a mess in her kitchen, and volunteering with her community theater group. As an avid reader, she always has her nose in a book.
Aubry’s specialities include: acute and chronic pain, migraines/headaches, stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, women’s health, fertility, autoimmune disorders, and acute and chronic digestive disorders.
